I am delighted to have been invited to present one of the two keynote sessions and a breakout session at the SharePoint Conference 2012 in Utrecht, The Netherlands on September 25^th 2012.   Sam Marshall of Clear Box consulting will be presenting the other keynote and some of the world’s leading organisations such as Coca Cola, BT, and Philips will be sharing their experiences in the breakout sessions.

The conference will have a strong focus  on the business side of SharePoint and my sessions will be based around my Art of SharePoint Success framework.  I’ve noticed a shift towards business focused SharePoint events this year.  The business track at the International SharePoint Conference in London was a huge success, and according to their website the SharePoint Best Practices Conference 2013 in the USA will be entirely made up of business content.  Since this has been my focus for the past six years I hope that it’s a trend that will continue.  Although the technology is mature and well understood many, many organisations still struggle to deliver the expected business benefits, there is a definite need for more business and strategy focused events and guidance.
